Dr. Carl M. Block, PC
Dr. Carl M. Block attended the University of Arizona for his pre-doctoral training, followed by a one year internship at Baylor College of Dentistry. He attained his doctorate in dental surgery from the Medical College of Virginia in 1989. Due to his academic excellence, he graduated cum laude. His surgical residency training was completed at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1991, at which time he entered private practice on a full time basis.

Donna/Office Manager
A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Donna has actively been promoting dental care & health since 1977.Donna graduated from Spartanburg Technical College in 1978 as a certified Dental Assistant. She has been involved in all aspects of dentistry from assisting to scheduling and insurance. She has actively participated in local and state dental assisting associations, promoting dental assisting as a "career to be proud of". Donna enjoys networking with other dental professionals to ensure patients have the very best care available. Donna finds dentistry to be a truly rewarding career, and this shows in her extensive involvement with patients and caring for their dental needs.
Donna moved to Virginia in 1999 with her two sons and her husband.
Toni/Professional Relations Coordinator
Originally from Virginia, Toni has worked in the education field since 1998 and entered the dental field in 2005, working both clinically and administratively. She enjoys working with dental professionals to ensure that patients get the best care possible. Toni works as a liaison between Dr. Block's office and our referring dentists' offices assuring that there is effective communication between the two. She assists with our referring offices staff members to ensure that the referral process is flawless and the transition for our patients is seamless. She will answer any of your questions relating to our practice and the services that Dr. Block provides.Toni currently resides in Powhatan, Virginia with her two daughters.
Logan/Patient Coordinator
A native of Virginia, Logan has worked in the customer service industry for over fifteen years. Logan enjoys her involvement with patients, and she will greet you with a smile when you walk in our door.Logan currently resides in Amelia, Virginia.
Surgical Assistant
Our dental assistants are required to complete a dental assisting program, which includes X-ray and CPR certification. Our assistants are here to answer any questions you may have and to make you comfortable, taking time to ease any fears or concerns.
Nichole/Surgical Assistant
Nichole was born in Hawaii. She was a military dependent and traveled around the world including Japan. She lived in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Richmond, Virginia during High School. She graduated from Monacan High School and then attended John Tyler Community College as a pre-nursing student. During this time she took an interest in the dental field and pursued a career in Dr. Blocks office as his receptionist. After several months she became interested in the clinical aspect of dentistry and now is Dr. Blocks surgical assistant.Nichole currently resides in Richmond, Virginia.
Dental Hygienist
Our dental hygienists are licensed, X-ray and CPR certified. They provide comprehensive oral exams, professional cleanings and oral cancer screenings. They always have your comfort in mind.
Kristen/Registered Dental Hygienist
A native of Virginia, Kristen attended Meadowbrook High School and graduated in 1999. After graduation Kristen attended James Madison University and achieved her Bachelors of Science Degree in Health Sciences with a minor in nutrition, in 2004. She graduated from Virginia Western Community College; Dental Hygiene School Manga cum Laude Salutatorian of her Hygiene class in 2006. It has been Kristen's dream to be a hygienist since she was a small child, and hopes she can touch many lives as she practices through the years.Kristen currently resides in Midlothian, Virginia.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Cathy/Certified Nurse Anesthetist
Cathy has been providing IV sedation for our patients since 2000. Cathy is an advanced cardiac life support instructor and is actively in the Navy Reserve. She also owns her own business, LCH Anesthesia Services, LLC.Cathy will discuss your anesthesia plan with you in detail and ease any fears or anxieties you may have.
Cathy has been "putting people to sleep" in Richmond for over 25 years but she's really not boring! She resides in Midlothian, Virginia and is married with one son.
